In order to remove World of Warcraft safely from your system, please do the following:ġ. I looked around the WoW folder and could not find an “uninstall” file anywhere… and I don’t know what Mac’s equivalent of “add/remove software” is, so I’m left with a broken install of a game I can’t figure out how to get rid of… It won’t give me the option to ‘re-install’ the patch, nor will WoW open when I click on the icon, in fact clicking on the icon only causes a little error folder to appear on the desktop.įrustrated with this, I decide to just uninstall World of Warcraft all together and re-install it from scratch. Anyway, I finally reach the last patch of the game and as it is about to finish, there is an error. ![]() On top of it, I also had to install the expansion, which took forever. So I just bought a MacBook Pro (I’m not very well versed in using Macs yet, so excuse me) and decided to install World of Warcraft.įor anyone who has this game, I’m sure you know what a ridiculous pain it is to install on a new computer not only does the install take a while, but there are usually three or four patches waiting to be installed that take at least 45 minutes each.
